Enlightenment Anniversary (w/Video)

In this week’s Spot, Sadhguru writes about the anniversary of his enlightenment. “Thursday’s Darshan marked the 28th anniversary of that day on Chamundi Hill. A day that would change the course of my life. So on that day, the young strapping man that I was – so full of myself, proud of everything that I was – suddenly cracked, fell apart, dissolved and disappeared. I desperately tried to pick up a few pieces; nothing remained. I couldn’t even keep a souvenir.”

The Inner Way is ‘Underway’

In this week’s Spot, Sadhguru is conducting a 5 day Inner Way Program and answers a question from one of the participants about his thoughts on the pursuit of material wealth. “Nobody is pursuing material wealth, nor is anybody pursuing spirituality. People are only pursuing their wellbeing. Whatever your current understanding of your wellbeing is, accordingly, that is what you are pursuing.”

In this week’s Spot, Sadhguru describes a 40,000 square foot brand new project underway at the Isha Yoga center. “So today we started the project called ‘Adi Yogi Alayam.’ A meditation hall which is south-facing because Adi Yogi, when he sat as a guru, he sat south-facing. And we will have a wonderful consecration which will befit Him for this hall.”

A Warm Welcome Back to India (w/Video)

In this week’s Spot, it was a warm welcome home to India for Sadhguru after being away for 6 months. “The residents, volunteers and children had lined up along the road to welcome me as I drove by, holding lit candles with music, flowers, tears of joy and love. Friday’s Sathsang at the ashram brought nearly 5,000 meditators. The hall was bursting with people and it was a joy to feel the warmth and love pouring from all those who attended. It happened to be my birthday…”
