Homeschool goes to Thailand!

From March 30th to April 7th, after the closing of their final year, the class 12 students of Isha Home school, along with a few teachers, took their first trip out of the country, to Thailand – a country whose rich, ancient heritage is matched by its modern-day comforts.

Guru’s Padam Graces Gnana Shala

Last month Sheyna Baig, a Delhi-based artist and meditator came to the Home School to do an art installation at the Gnana Shala. The entrance to the senior school building needed something to welcome visitors other than the bare, whitewashed wall. So students and teachers thought, what better adornment than an imprint of Sadhguru’s feet?

Terence Lewis visits Isha Home School

Terence Lewis is a celebrity choreographer specializing in corporate shows, fusion ensembles, Bollywood and Broadway musicals. Amongst his repertoire of many talents he is also a leading celebrity Judge on Sony TV ‘Dance Dance’ & Zee TV’s ‘Dance India Dance’.

As an Isha meditator with a burgeoning sense of wanting to visit the ashram, and a sense of curiosity for the Isha home school, Terence Lewis took time out from his own busy schedule to spend three days with the students to facilitate a workshop.

Isha Home School has received its Permanent Affiliation to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). What’s more it was featured in Society Interiors, a leading interior decoration and design magazine.

Home School Sports Day Event

The annual Isha Home School sports day began with an eclectic mix of nerves, excitement and a culmination of days and nights of preparation. One could savour the moment with a feeling of satisfaction as one stood in the basking light of the sun to see the four teams, each with their own colorful tent.
